AT GOTLANDS STRUMPFABRIK in Boge, we knit wool products of the highest quality. With a combination of knitting
machines and highly skilled craftmanship, we turn wool yarn to unique products.

THE SOCKS ARE KNITTED on mechanic hosiery machines dated 1946-1981. The knitting is followed by eight manual procedures,each equally important to the final result. Our most popular socks are made from mohair, a shiny and strong wool fibre from young angora goats. The result is a durable and sweat absorbing sock. A perfect pair for both summer and winter use. We make your feet happy!

THE FABRIC IN OUR CLOTHES AND ACCESSORIES are knitted on electronic flat knitting machines. After wash, tumble-dry and cut, we hand sew cardigans, sweaters, skirts and scarfs - always with great care of every detail.

WE MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY FIBRE. The scrap pieces of fabric are turned into wrist warmers and other small products. The leftovers are grinded into ”wool crumbles” and used as a luxurious upholstery. Nothing goes to waste.
